But once that massive, unshakeable foundation is secure, the rest of the tower appears to shoot into the sky almost overnight.

Growth marketing functions exactly the same way. True, rapid velocity is not the result of superficial growth hacks or disjointed campaigns; it is a byproduct of a flawless operational and data foundation. I am Anzaar Rana, a global growth strategist and performance marketing enthusiast with over 13 years of experience building high-output acquisition engines that scale. My work combines analytical depth with hands-on execution, whether it’s managing a $200M+ budget, building teams from scratch, or leading expansion into new markets.

Born and raised in India, I developed my foundational perspective on digital scalability within rapidly evolving markets. For a few years now, I call Brooklyn NY, home, where I live with my partner, our children and our pets.

Currently, I serve as the Chief Marketing Officer at YogaRenew (a global leader in online yoga education), driving volume and revenue growth across our global ecosystem. I stepped into this leadership role to blend my 10 years of corporate growth experience at Google with my passion for yoga philosophy, integrating conscious, intentional practices into everyday operational scale. Working here is especially meaningful to me; in a fast-paced world, building a system that helps people reconnect feels like a genuine responsibility and a gift.

My career has been defined by the unyielding big-scale growth metrics working with global tech giants, telecom enterprises and fast-moving consumer apps.

  • Google (Waze): Led global growth and owned performance marketing, transforming how the brand approached paid media, measurement and creative optimization. My team delivered double-digit new user growth, built the brand's App Store Optimization foundation and launched localized paid media in over 20 markets.

  • Enterprise Strategy: Managed search and performance strategy for some of the world’s most recognized brands, including Apple, HP, GoPro, Sonos, L'Oréal, Volkswagen and Verizon.

  • Digital Foundations: Built Yes Bank’s digital marketing foundation in India from the ground up, leading a complete website transformation and doubling acquisition efficiency.

  • Ad Budget Excellence: Directed $200M+ in annual ad investments while maintaining clean unit economics and disciplined testing frameworks.

  • Strategic Integration: Owned the Google Marketing Stack integration during the T-Mobile and Sprint merger, streamlining cross-channel performance tracking and earned Google's Telecom Innovation Award for omni-channel bidding excellence.
